HERMANOS TORRES

Spanish twins, Sergio and Javier Torres, were always going to be chefs. Their grandmother, they say, ‘inadvertently instilled in us a love of cooking,’ and by the age of 14 they’d both been accepted into culinary school. Cleverly they honed their skills in different stations and kitchens, amassing a multitude of skills between them. Their innovative cuisine speaks of Spanish tradition and childhood memories, earning them 3 Michelin stars over the years for their Barcelona restaurant, Cocina Hermanos Torres, as well as a Michelin green star. Bringing their spectacular plates to Sani Gourmet, Javier Torres shall prepare an exclusive dinner at Elia restaurant this August.

SANI GOURMET 2022

In honour of the festival’s 15th year, we celebrated the Greek culinary scene. A scene in which contemporary Greek chefs have embraced the gastronomic elements of a multitude of cuisines and fused them with their own culinary backgrounds. Working alongside Sani's executive chefs, the A-list of contemporary Greek chefs created degustation menus for the occasion - each inspired by their signature dishes and perfectly paired with Greek and International wine labels.
